Glenda is often working on commissions from all over the world; animals, family portraits, favourite landscapes, her work is diverse, yet takes especial pleasure in painting dogs and horses. She is proficient in oils, acrylics, watercolour, pastels.
I am available to take commissions upon request. To commission a painting you will own a unique piece of artwork that is personal to you. I specialise in animal portraits, but can paint human portraits, landscapes and will attempt to accommodate your requests. I favour oil paints, but will happily work in any medium.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or wish to enquire about a potential project. I take great pride in being able to produce work that you will love. If you’re unhappy with the final piece, I will not ask for payment.
Specification
Provide 2-3 close up photographs of the subject in different poses. It is useful to try and capture the subject’s character; if it’s a pet, this may be a floppy ear, a sad stare or some other characteristic that will give the piece that personal touch.
Medium
Decide on a medium and stock. If you don’t have a preference, I will pick a medium and ground to paint on in order to achieve the best result for your picture. I am happy to work with any medium, but I prefer to use oils.
Pricing
I want my clients to have a personal piece of artwork to enjoy; unlike most artists I don’t ask for an initial deposit as I want to feel confident that you will love the finished product. As every painting is different, a set price cannot be outlined; my prices start from €100 for a standard 40cm x 40cm canvas, anything larger then please discuss with me for competitive rates.
